My “Why”
The Mission…
To inspire growth mindsets and foster perspective-taking within individuals and teams by using reliable, innovative, and evidence-based methods—empowering people to collaborate effectively, cultivate balance, and realize their full human potential
The Vision…
My vision is to be the Mary Poppins of HR—flying in with a bottomless bag of smart solutions, a spoonful of humor, and just the right mix of magic and structure to help growing organizations thrive through change.
The Story…
I believe deeply that every person holds a desire to realize their best self, and that growth is always possible—especially through the changes and opportunities that life presents. Yet self-knowledge and awareness don’t come easily. They require an openness to understanding how our actions, attitudes, beliefs, and energy influence those around us—particularly within the teams and environments where we live and work.
To foster this growth, we must open ourselves to feedback, build trust, and be willing to show vulnerability. These are the foundations of true collaboration and shared accountability.
My vision for this work was born from a personal tragedy. When I was 15, a workplace shooting occurred at my parent’s job—a place she had devoted herself to for 23 years. She never returned, and that day forever changed how I understood work, its meaning, and its impact on our lives. It also ignited in me a lifelong mission: to help people grow into their fullest selves at work, recognize the signs of burnout, and develop the communication skills needed to build healthy, empowering environments.
Since then, I have dedicated my life to the study of industrial and organizational psychology and the exploration of human emotion in both professional and personal contexts. It has been one of my greatest joys to work with some of the world’s most complex and dynamic teams—and to witness the human spirit rise, again and again, to meet challenges through openness, resilience, and a commitment to growth.
I believe learning and personal vision are lifelong pursuits. I continually push myself to evolve, trusting my intuition and adapting with agility in unfamiliar situations. One of my future goals is to sail across the Pacific Ocean—a dream that will require training, persistence, and courage. I encourage those around me to embrace this same mindset: to step beyond comfort zones, expand their perspectives, and unlock new layers of potential.
Now, with my two children grown and living their own lives, I’m ready to expand my reach. I’m seeking new opportunities to bring the joy of team growth and leadership development to individuals and organizations striving to reach their highest potential.
I believe any goal is possible when we work together within healthy, high-functioning teams. But it begins with understanding—of ourselves and each other. It requires building strong foundations, navigating conflict with balance, and creating spaces where people can thrive. This is the work I love. This is my life’s purpose.
